Critical Thinking

Sixth graders begin their chemistry studies by learning how to use the tools of chemists as well as proper measuring techniques to ensure precision in their experiments. Through this lab, students discover the possible sources of error that can affect experimental data collected and discuss ways to minimize it for future investigations.

There has never been a more critical time for critical thinkers. When answers can be Googled in the tap of a finger or click of a mouse, asking the right questions is what counts. Living by core values is what counts. Our progressive program equips students with the confidence to discern fact from slant, and to contribute to society in a meaningful way.
